ABOUT US

Sandusky County Positive People was founded in 2012 after Fremont resident Tom Hoffman experienced the impact the Firelands Positive People organization had on students in the Firelands area. Sandusky County Positive People is a local 501(c)3 non-profit, organization made up of local volunteers that want to have a positive impact on our community.  Each year, we accept applications from area high school seniors that have overcome unbelievable and all too often horrible obstacles in life. Somehow through it all, they never lost that spark to succeed in life or their positive attitude.  Each spring at our awards breakfast, we award scholarship money to area graduating high school seniors who have overcome these adversities in their lives and come through their challenges in a positive manner.

Since our first Annual Awards Breakfast in 2012, Sandusky County Positive People has awarded over $303,650 in scholarships to 108 Sandusky County graduating seniors! As we grow through our fundraisers and our donors, we continue to award more scholarships in larger amounts each year.  We encourage you to attend one of our many fundraisers or to make a donation to help us continue the reach of our organization.

Thank you,

SANDUSKY COUNTY POSITIVE PEOPLE
